Refuge and ... safety, art quality, wilderness etc

This is the graph generated by the Art Institute visit. Although I do not want to oversell this small data set it seems to suggest that where 'refuges' exist the landscape scores higher on the 'like to visit', 'safe', and 'good' metrics.

What is the relationship between this and both the Biophilia and Jay Appleton's notions.
