A Note on the Recent Common Hour

For our last common hour we split into groups and tried to come to consensus regarding groups of people that should live in a community. The supposed moral was to expose our predjudices and biases towards people and to learn not to judge people point blank based on very little. Though this was a somewhat interesting experiment I feel that the amount of time that we spent on this discussion was far too much and could have easily been used for a more productive cause. The lesson learned was nothing new and though it is good to remphasise this sort of thing now and again the same effect would have been gained by a well written email.
